Upcoming Events....

15th Annual Dozer Days
Wingra Stone (Hwy151 and PD)
Saturday, June 2, 10:00am-4:00pm
$5.00 admission all ages
All proceeds go to Thursday's Child, which grants wishes to terminally ill children
http://www.wingrastone.com/dozer.html

Do not miss this event!  This is seriously the most fun you can possibly have in one day!  Bring your camera-- there are great Kodak moments everywhere!

Wingra Stone opens up it's doors for families to experience construction equipment up close and personal.  It's a fundraiser for Thursday's Child so spend a few bucks on food and t-shirts while you are there too.  It starts at 10:00am, and it does get pretty crowded.  You can also buy tickets in advance at Wingra Stone.  It will save you time if you plan to stand in line to get in right when it opens (the line starts to get long by 9:30am).  Another option is to try and hit it later in the day, but don't go too late!  If you haven't been before, here are some pictures we took a couple of years ago.

Be prepared for a summer camp experience unlike any other!

Saturday, May 19 is the date for the annual Swe Party! For those of you not familiar, we host a huge family-oriented party in our backyard each spring. The party is a donation drive for a different non-profit organization each year. We choose charities that focus primarily on helping kids. It's a very palpable way to show kids of all ages how they can make a difference in the lives of others.

The theme this year is “Summer Camp” in honor of our featured charity – Easter Seals Respite Camp. This camp, located at the Wisconsin Elks Association campground in the Wisconsin Dells, gives campers with special needs the ability to experience their very own summer camp in an environment that is supportive of their physical and/or cognitive limitations. We have personally benefited from the services provided by Easter Seals and would love to give back by providing them with many of the items they need to accommodate campers throughout the year.

With that said we are turning our backyard into the best summer camp site in town! Kids will enjoy camp crafts, games, food, and a whole lot of fun! Adults, we didn’t forget about you either! Our feature entertainment is a family bluegrass playin’, gospel singin’, country crooning band. We’ll even have upscale camp food for adult tastes (think chicken, brats, brie, salmon, and a fine selection of adult beverages).

You are invited to join us!
Find the scoop on our personal website - http://www.whatacoolfamily.com
Please RSVP online at the website above!
A list of recommended donation items can be found on our website or on the back page of this .pdf file.
